1. António Guterres(he is from Portugal) is the current Secretary-General of the United Nations. He is the ninth Secretary-General, his term began 1 January 2017.

3. Pakistan's current Permanent Representative to the UN is Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, who assumed the position on April 1, 2025. He is also the President of the UN Security Council for the month of July 2025.
